TRIJICON SIGHTING SYSTEM

1.             Trijicon, USA a world renowned name in the given field offer a bouquet of telescopic, holographic/reflex, night and thermal sights for all types of small arms and modern weapon systems. Incorporating the latest cutting edge technology coupled with valuable ground inputs from veterans, Trijicon have emerged as leaders in the design and manufacture of high-quality, innovative and precision aiming solutions/sighting systems for use by law enforcement and military customers all over the world. Some of their elite products are:-

(a)           Advanced Combat Gun Sight (ACOG).        The latest in the stable of world class sighting system is the concept of “Magnified Optics”. Incorporating this magnified optics concept, ACOG®s are internally-adjustable, compact telescopic sights with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC)* models feature bright daytime reticle using fiber optics which collect ambient light (no batteries). The ACOG®s combines traditional, precise distance marksmanship with close-in aiming speed.

(b)           Reflex Sights.      Trijicon's technologically advanced Reflex sights offer shooters the perfect combination of speed and precision under virtually any lighting conditions. The Trijicon advantage includes:

(i)            A bright aiming point in low light, no light or bright light.

(ii)           Quick target acquisition and pinpoint accuracy.

(iii)          Big sight picture and realistic color.

(iv)          Built to be tough.

(v)           Both-eyes-open advantage.

(c)           Ruggedized Miniature Reflex (RMR).          When precision is the only option, your best option is the Trijicon RMR™ Sight. Built to provide optimum red-dot visibility against the target, you can acquire and hit your target quickly and more accurately. The new Trijicon RMR™ (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) has been introduced to match the legendary toughness of the Trijicon ACOG® (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight). With dual poewer source - tritium and fiber optics – the sight does not require/use batteries. It can be teamed up with the ACOG® for the ultimate in fast target acquisition or precise aiming at extended distances.

(d)           ACOG - RMR Combo.      This revolutionary idea combines both the sights in such a manner that target sighting, acquisition and engagement can move from 500-600m to 10-15m in split seconds by just the flick of head/eye. With a combined weight of under 400gm – this is the world lightest one stop solution for target engagement by assault rifles at all ranges. In addition to the obvious operational advantages, this combo obviates the need to carry different sight for different ranges/operational scenarios.

(d)           Tactical Advanced NightVision System (TANS).       The new Trijicon TANS is a cutting-edge night vision system that is specifically designed to work perfectly in front of the Trijicon ACOG® sights with negligible effect on boresight - allowing extremely rapid proficiency from one's normal shooting position. Designed for both military and law enforcement applications, the entire unit can be added or removed effortlessly from a MIL-STD 1913 rail. The Trijicon TANS is made with a low optical centerline that is free from parallax errors, optimizing target acquisition in CQB situations during low light conditions. The TANS can be used in conjunction with the ACOG sight thereby removing the necessity of zeroing and additional magnification for the same.

(e)           Advanced Combat Thermal Sight (ACTS). This is a compact, light weight (600gms), rugged, easy to use long wave thermal imaging sensor is designed to be used with existing day scope (ACOG) as a Clip-on sight. This enable the thermal sight to use the uses the magnification as also the lighted reticle pattern of the ACOG. ACTS - free from parallax errors it optimizes target acquisition during low light conditions. Readily installed on MIL-STD 1913 Piccatinny rail maintaining day scope bore-sight (thus obviating need for zeroing of thermal sight), ACTS permits fast aiming proficiency from normal firing positions. With a 7° FOV (field of view) and 1x magnification, the new ATWS™ perfectly matches the FOV and magnification of the ACOG® 4x32.
